First Band From Outer Space

http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=2045#discography This site has many reviews and info. GO THERE NOW!

---From TFBFOS MySpace---

The band started out in 2001 when Fredrik (bass) and Johan (guitar) both ended up living in Gothenburg, Sweden. Being musicians, having played in the same band before and being friends for a long time, it was inevitable for them to start a band. But it wasn't until Carl (drums) joined in 2002, that things started to take form. Our sound was born. From there on we've been working on refining our sound. We've brought different musicians in to the band, changed locations, excanged equipment, learnt new skills, played and jammed a lot. Now when Petrus (organ) has been with us for some time, we're feeling a stability as a four piece band. He is both creative and skillful and he brings a new feeling to the music. Since we've started to produce our songs in our own studio, the possibilities for more complex arrangements have increased a lot. We are now able to work without paying someone by the hour and we can be more flexible in the writing/recording process.

Dzjenghis Khan - more pr for a group worth it

--------------------stolen from http://captain-beyond.blogspot.com/--------
Psychedelic super freaks DZJENGHIS KHAN released a freak-out acid fuzz 70s black psychedelic hardrock monster which blows your mind away. These artists are more seventies than the seventies itself. Listening to their way-out freaky phat music let you dance madly backwards. DZJENGHIS KHAN are the grandsons of Captain Beyond on LSD. In an adjusted world of ritalin popping robot-like zombies their music is a slap in the face of the trend-following society. Wow, what an awesome start to the new decade!

"Every single song is excellently reminiscent of old hard-rock acid heavy sounds. Goddamn if they do not hit the spot where Leaf Hound and Mountain left off and where Gorilla, Orange Sunshine et al trying to hit!"

Dzjenghis Khan - Ears bleeding brain frying heavy acidrock

------------------------STOLEN FROM http://wine-women-song.blogspot.com-------------
DO NOT READ THIS!!! Out of the San Francisco fog appears... Dzjenghis Khan!!! Three brothers from three disturbed regions of the continent joined together under ridiculous circumstances and set forth to conquer the world and reign supreme as the most totally badass rock trio of heavy power!!!"

Armed with crushing riffs and high on weed, Dzjenghis Khan totally ravaged the bay area rock scene and now move onward, with the eternal blue sky to guide them, across the sea to the Netherworld -The Hague via San Franciso!!!

What is there to say about these three wayward heathens? Not much. Its like trying to discribe a caveman to a fish with legs... hey, it's not easy. But one thing that is known about these men of the steppe is they eat, sleep, and shit rock 'n' roll. Shitting bricks is for masons. So just lay back, relax, maybe give yourself a blowjob if you can do that, and let yourself be decapitated by the slaying sounds of Dzjenghis Khan -the band's debut album is soon to be released through Motorwolf Records.
